Thoughts on Iraq

I just read that there have been 100,000 casualties in Iraq since the beginning of conflict. I find it interesting you never (and I mean never) hear that number on any news outlet. It doesn't matter: tv, internet news site, newspaper - the only number you hear are the over 1,000 Americans who have died. I grieve for my fellow Americans lost in battles, but I grieve all the more for the much greater number of natives who have died for their (or our?) cause.

Pray for Iraq today.

Check out sojourners.com. It is a Christian organization aimed at opening Christians' eyes to the scope of Christianity. What a messed up world we live in.
