The Metzes enjoyed Clark's first Christmas. We were home on Christmas Day. The rest of the Metzes came down to Columbus. We headed out from Columbus on the 26th and spent a few days with the Hastings. I'm not sure which one of them we have to thank for that stomach bug we recieved. Thanks family! This is just one of my favorite pictures that we've had taken. This was from our snowshoeing venture while we were in Vermont a couple of week ago. The scenery was beautiful and this picture captures more than any other, though it hardly does justice. The Green Mountains are gorgeous. Check out our photo blog for more pictures from our trip. I'll get Christmas photos up soon. I'll try to give everybody a couple of days to look at them before adding. Lots of pictures to post. Lots of posts to make. Enjoy.

New pictures

I know many of you come to Super Metz just to see family pictures and don't care much for whatever ramblings may be here. In an effort to meet your needs (since that is what I am here to do) I have set up another blog that I will use exclusively for pictures. I will continue to post pictures here though not as frequently and not as many at a time. Thanks to all of you who check us out here. He was there putting ornaments on the tree too. We had to be careful which ornaments were low this year.

Clark was alot of help with the lights, though he did want to eat them alot!

Clark likes to play a new game where he throws his head back. I'm not really sure why he does it, but it is hillarious. He also shakes his head "no" alot . . . we're working on nodding "yes."

Tuesday night Clark went out and found his first Christmas tree. It is probably the best tree we've ever had. He did well.

Clark's all grown up. He was taking a break while the rest of us were decorating the church building for Christmas.

And then there's our team. We had a good time . . . we just couldn't tackle. Thanks for taking the pictures Natalie.

Here are the winners . . . they do seem to have a bit of a smirk.

Friday night we began the tradition at Alum Creek of "The Game Before the Game." The Alum Creek Battle for the Gold Pants. Here were the first participants. We our team got killed, but we had a great time.

Clark enjoyed the slides down at the park. We had a beautiful Saturday last weekend to enjoy it.

Mom got to spend some time in the leaves before I raked them yesterday . . . four hours of raking . . . yuck!

We had a simply beautiful Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of peak fall colors in central Ohio. Friday, I took Clark out and had a little photo op with him and some left over pumpkins from our church sale. This is my favorite picture. It's a wonderful time of year . . . my favorite time of year. That may be why this is one of my favorite pictures of Clark that we've taken. I'm going to try and get it blown up and put it in the house.

This is like the worst of the pictures . . . he really did pretty well. though he did get his hair cut in a church building if that tells you anything about where he spends most of his time.
